Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Pennsylvania on an academic exchange!

As you begin the next stage of the process, we would like to highlight a few key items. You are required to read the Accepted Exchange Students webpage (https://global.upenn.edu/pennabroad/students/accepted-exchange-students), as well asthe Penn ISSS Handbook (https://global.upenn.edu/isss/getting-started).

 

New Materials to Review and Complete

Now that your application status has changed, please login to your application to review additional materials and complete the required signature documents. Please take your time to thoroughly review all of the new materials and linked content.

It is also important that you click on the “Commit” button in order to secure your spot on the exchange program. This will trigger the visa and registration process.

 

Next Steps

In the following weeks, you will be receiving automated emails from the University of Pennsylvania to setup your PennKey and begin your immigration documentation application. If you do not see these emails in your inbox, please check your spam filter.

Once your immigration documents are completed, they will be sent directly to your home university, along with an official acceptance letter from the University of Pennsylvania.

 

Program Dates

Mandatory New Student Orientation (NSO) begins the morning of Wednesday, August 23rd, 2017. Students may move into campus housing starting at 9:00am on Monday, August 21st, 2017 and should arrive no later than the evening of Tuesday August 22nd, 2017.

  • August 22, Arrival and move-in to campus housing
  • August 23-28, New Student Orientation
  • August 29, First Day of Classes
  • December 11, Last Day of Classes
  • December 14-21, Final Exams
