Penn Appétit is holding its annual food conference; this year our conference looks at innovation through the lens of food. This entails two panels and one keynote speaker, lunch and interactive activities.
Our panels will focus on food fusion-whereby chefs have invented new culinary staple items by combining different historic food foundations together-and entrepreneurship-whereby we will examine changing and managing business models in the food industry. Our keynote speaker will focus on the impact of technologies and new discoveries from the perspective of food industries. Our activity, a photography workshop, will focus on one specific innovation-primarily the rise of social media and the influence of it on food.
