How will NSO be impacted by COVID-19?
As of now, University health officials are still monitoring the situation both in Philadelphia as well as the places our students will be traveling from. We are exploring all options available in order to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and Philadelphia community. Please check back for updates.

When do I move in?
Due to the rapidly changing situation regarding COVID-19 in the United States, on-campus housing will be strictly limited. Please refer to Penn Residential for more information on this.

What pre-orientation programs are available and how may I obtain more information about them?
Several of Penn's departments offer pre-orientation programs to introduce new students to campus life and traditions prior to official orientation programs. Information about these programs will be mailed by the individual departments over the course of the summer; however, applications and information are also available on the web. To access information on PennQuest, PennArts, PennCORP, PennGreen, and PENNacle, visit the Office of Student Affairs' Pre-Orientation page. For information on the PENNCAP/Pre-Freshman Program, visit Equity and Access Programs. For information on The Center for Africana Studies pre-freshmen program, visit Summer Institute for Pre-Freshmen. Please note that pre-orientation programs will likely be limited due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
