2026 New Student Orientation (NSO)
Class of 2030, welcome to Penn!
Each year, the Office of New Student Orientation & Academic Initiatives (NSOAI) is dedicated to helping new Quakers transition smoothly to Penn while offering an exciting and academically enriching experience. This year’s NSO will be packed with academic programs, cultural celebrations, and social events that introduce you to both Penn and the vibrant city of Philadelphia.

2025 NSO Recap Video
In collaboration with our campus partners, NSO 2025 was held from Wednesday, August 20 to Monday, August 25. The specific population programming for International, Transfer, EAP/IGSP, and First Generation and/or Limited Income (FGLI) students were held from Monday, August 18 through Wednesday, August 20.
