First-Year Experience (FYE)
New Student Orientation is an exciting and informative opportunity all incoming students go through. A plethora of activities are crammed into six days, and between presentations, preceptorials, and the Penn Reading Project, it is easy for students to forget some of the things that they learn. Because of this, NSOAI has started the initiative First-Year Experience (FYE) program. Throughout the year events are designed to help first-year students become comfortable with their new home.
The First-Year Experience (FYE) program consists of events run by Penn students and administration that are designed to assist personal success in college. These events also provide first-year students with practical knowledge and wisdom to jumpstart their college career. Whether they're learning new study strategies at the Weingarten Learning Center, discussing credit and debit cards, or touring West Philly; FYE is here to help first-year students ease into life at Penn!
